Congratulations, Jasper!

Congratulations to Jasper Ouyang of The Quarry Lane School! His performance of Beethoven’s “Pathetique” was a remarkably fitting conclusion to the summer season at the beautiful Tokyo Opera House concert hall, just before students return to school.

Congratulations to Isaac and Jasper!

Sixth-grader Isaac Chang of Gale Ranch Middle School and Jasper Ouyang of Quarry Lane School have clinched first place in the prestigious Special Venue Music Competition, co-hosted by Harvard University and the San Francisco Opera. They are set to perform their winning program, which includes Beethoven’s Pathetique and Debussy’s Passepied, at the SF Opera House concert on October 4, 2025.

Aimee wins in the Brahms International Music Competition

Warmest congratulations to Aimee Ng, a talented 12-year-old piano student from Windemere Middle School. Aimee has achieved the remarkable accomplishment of earning the Silver Prize in the prestigious Brahms International Music Competition. We are incredibly proud of her success! Well done, Aimee!

Congrats Isabella, Isaac, and Haidee!

I am incredibly proud of my piano students for their recent achievements! Your hard work and dedication are truly paying off.

Congratulations to:

  • Isabella Huang (incoming 12th grader at Stanford Online High School) for securing 1st place.
  • Isaac Chang (entering 6th grade at Gale Ranch Middle School) for his 1st place win.
  • Haidee Yuan (8 years old) for her 2nd place achievement in the Nobel Artist International Competition.

Additionally, Isaac has been selected for the master class, where he will be showcasing a piece by Debussy.

Noelle Liu and Jasper Ouyang: International Music Competition Grand Prize Winners

We are proud to announce the outstanding achievements of two of our students.

Noelle Liu, a 12-year-old from Gale Ranch Middle School, was awarded 1st place in both the Salzburg and Tokyo competitions, along with the prestigious 2025 International Music Grand Prize Virtuoso.

Additionally, 9-year-old Jasper Ouyang from Quarry Lane School secured 1st place with the Beethoven Pathetique and received the Exceptional Young Talent Special Prize.

Huge congratulations are in order for Jasper Ouyang, a 9-year-old talent from Quarry Lane School! Jasper has swept the 2025 Salzburg International Music Competition, earning both First Prize and the special Exceptional Young Talent Prize. Don’t miss Jasper’s performance of Beethoven’s Pathetique Piano Sonata at the Solitär Mozarteum on July 18, 2025!

Vienna Mozart Competition Results

At the Vienna Mozart Competition, 13-year-old Tea De Masi of Contra Costa Christian School and 16-year-old Dingru Shi of Monte Vista High School received 3rd place, while 16-year-old Matthew Zhang of Choate Rosemary Hall School received 4th place. Congratulations to all!
