Jason Chen Accepted to UPenn

We are going to UPenn!!!
Congratulations to our student Jason Chen, age 17, from Dougherty Valley High School, on his acceptance to the University of Pennsylvania through Early Decision! We’re so proud of him!
It was a privilege to assist Jason with his UPenn Early Decision recommendation letter.
Jason is currently working on Kapuatin Piano Concerto No. 2.

Congratulations to our studio students, Lucy Wang (13, Athenian School) and Jasper Ouyang (8, Quarry Land School), for winning 2nd place in the International Clavierland Mozart Classical Music Competition held on November 24, 2024, at the Mozarthaus Vienna – Concert Hall in Vienna.

Student Competition Wins

We are thrilled to announce that Isabella Yan , Basis Independent School has secured a prestigious silver medal at the Debussy International Competition. Her remarkable talent, coupled with her unwavering dedication and commitment to excellence, has earned her a well-deserved spot on the international stage.

Eliezer Kumar-Lau’s Competition Successes

Congratulations to our student Eliezer Kumar-Lau having achieved outstanding results in recent competitions, earning gold prizes in both the 11-13 age category and the Romantic period under 17 age category at the Saint-Saens International Music Competition. Additionally, he received first place in the Kids Artist II category at the London Competition UK.

Jasper Ouyang’s First Prize Win

Congratulations to our student Jasper Ouyang (8 years old, Quarry Land School) for his first-place win and special expression prize in the Vivaldi piano competition; it was a pleasure working with him on Debussy.

Golden Classical Music Competition winners

We’re bursting with pride to announce the incredible achievements of our studio students at the recent Golden Classical Music Competition!

Jasper Onyang, a young prodigy at just 8 years old (The Quarry Lane School), achieved a truly phenomenal feat. Not only did he win First Prize in his category, but he also received the prestigious Exceptional Young Talent Special Prize. Jasper’s dedication and talent were clearly evident to the judges!

Curtis HaoChen Li (age 9, Lincoln Elementary School) also brought home the top honor, earning the competition’s First Prize. Curtis’ hard work and passion for music were on full display.

Both Jasper and Curtis will now have the extraordinary opportunity to perform at the legendary Carnegie Hall this winter (2024). This is a dream come true for any young musician, and a testament to their unwavering commitment to their craft.

We couldn’t be more proud of these two exceptional young artists. Their accomplishments inspire us all!

Congratulations, Eliezer!

Congratulations to our studio student Eliezer Kumar-Lau of Diablo Vista Middle School for achieving 1st place at the WBMC World Competition!

Eliezer is the only student from the United States to win in his category. This is a tremendous accomplishment, and we are incredibly proud of his hard work and dedication.

Special Venue Music Award International Competition winners to perform at Harvard University

We are bursting with pride to announce the incredible success of our Lewis Music Studio students at the Special Venue Music Award International Competition hosted by Harvard University! A huge congratulations to the following talented musicians:
