Students Earn Platinum and Gold at Nobel International Music Competition

Congratulations to our students on their exceptional performances at the Nobel International Music Competition:

  • Jasper Ouyang (10): The Quarry Lane School student was awarded the Platinum Prize for his masterful performance of a piece by Chopin.
  • Jerry Yi (15): A student at Monte Vista High School, Jerry received the Gold Prize in the High School Division for his brilliant performance of a piece by Prokofiev.

Outstanding Results at the Couperin and Mozart International Competitions

We are thrilled to celebrate three of our students who earned top marks in recent European competitive events:

  • Jasper Ouyang: The Quarry Lane School student was awarded the Platinum Prize and the Special Musicians Award at the Couperin International Music Competition.
  • Alex Chiu: A rising student who will be attending Monte Vista High School, Alex won the Platinum Prize in the 10–13 age group at the UK’s Mozart International Music Competition.
  • Olivia Chiu: A student at Tassajara Elementary School, Olivia took home the Platinum Prize alongside the Excellent Technique Special Prize at the same UK Mozart International Music Competition.

High Honors for Chloe Chen and Lucy Wang in International Competitions

Our students continue to excel on both local and international stages:

  • Chloe Chen (16): A talented student at Encinal High School, Chloe won first prize at both the International Music Competition Berlin and the Stanford University Music Competition.
  • Lucy Wang (15): A student at The Athenian School and member of the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra, Lucy was awarded the prestigious Absolute First Prize at her recent competition.

Lucy Wang and Sophia Li Win American Protégé First Prizes

Congratulations to Lucy Wang and Sophia Li on winning first prize at the American Protégé International Music Talent Competition. Both students will perform at Carnegie Hall this coming summer.

  • Lucy Wang (14): Attends The Athenian School and is a member of the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra.
  • Sophia Li (13): Attends Harvest Park Middle School.

Moon Liu Secures Multiple First-Place International Wins

We are proud to introduce Moon Liu, an 11th-grade student at Dublin High School who maintains a remarkable 5.0 GPA. Moon has recently achieved spectacular results in two major international events:

  • The Bach International Music Competition: First Place, Contemporary Category
  • The Grand Prize Virtuoso International Music Competition Berlin: First Place, Contemporary Music

Studio Celebrates Head-Royce Acceptance and Top Honors for Tea De Masi

We have exciting school news to share: one of our studio families has been accepted to the Head-Royce School in Oakland, California!

In addition, we want to congratulate our exceptionally talented student, Tea De Masi. Tea was recently named Artist of the Year at the International Youth Music Competition and went on to secure first place at the 2026 International Music Competition Berlin. We take great pride in Tea’s dedication and look forward to celebrating her future artistic endeavors.

Jasper Ouyang Wins First Place at Vienna Mozart Competition

Studio student Jasper Ouyang has achieved a remarkable feat by securing first place at the Mozart International Music Competition in Vienna. The 10-year-old Quarry Lane School student stood out as the only participant from the United States to claim a top spot in his division. We are incredibly proud of Jasper’s international success.

Aimee Ng Accepted to Juilliard Summer Program

Congratulations are in order for our talented student Aimee Ng, who attends Windermere Ranch Middle School. Aimee has been accepted into the highly esteemed Juilliard School summer music program.

Hope Ting Takes First Place in Berlin Competition

Congratulations to studio student Hope Ting on winning first place in her age group and category at the International Music Competition Berlin. Hope is 12 years old and attends the Dorris-Eaton School.

Jasper Ouyang Accepted to Manhattan School of Music Summer Program

Our congratulations to Jasper Ouyang continue. The 10-year-old Quarry Lane School student has also been accepted into the summer music program at the esteemed Manhattan School of Music.
